Chris has represented a wide variety
of clients since 2004, from individual
people to large corporations as both
plaintiff and defendant involving an
extensive range of legal issues.
After working for two Fortune 500
corporations in the New Orleans
area, United Healthcare and Entergy,
in corporate communications
involving various sensitive issues,
Chris attended law school at LSU's
Paul M. Hebert Law Center,
where he received a Juris Doctor and
Bachelor of Civil Law in 2004.

third years of law school and also
worked as an attorney after

graduating from law school at Graves Carley, a Baton Rouge law firm
primarily practicing construction and real estate law including real estate
transactions, as well as commercial litigation, personal injury matters, and
Chris then moved back home in 2005 to the Lake Charles area to work at
The Gray Law Firm in Lake Charles, where he had a wide-ranging legal
practice including commercial contract disputes, construction law and real
estate issues, oil and gas issues, personal injury premises liability insurance
defense, and hurricane-related insurance matters.
Chris is licensed to practice in all state courts of the State of Louisiana; the
U.S. Western, Middle, and Eastern federal district courts of Louisiana; and
the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, based in New Orleans.
Chris graduated from Sulphur High School in 1994 and obtained his
undergraduate bachelor's degree from McNeese State University in 1998
in mass communication with an emphasis in journalism.
A Sulphur native who has proudly called Moss Bluff his home since 2005,
Chris' prior work experience also includes working as sports editor and
sports writer for Southwest Daily News, Moss Bluff News, Westlake News,
and Iowa News from 1997-1999.
Born Feb. 2, 1976, Chris has been married to Kimberly (Fontenot) Guillory,
an occupational therapist and Moss Bluff native who graduated from Sam
Houston High School (Class of '96) and LSU Health Sciences Center in New
Orleans (Class of '01), for 21 years. They have two children.
Chris is also proudly involved in the Moss Bluff community as a "Partner in
Education" for Moss Bluff Elementary, a member of the board for Moss Bluff
Youth Basketball, and as a sponsor and coach for various children's
